IN THIS LESSON

Building on our foundational moves last week, we will spend some time today on our first standing sequence with Sun Salutations or Surya Namaskar.

Sun Salutations are a wonderful way to warm up the whole body, and are the starting blocks for vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga practices.

We’ll start with a slow demonstration to follow along with for Sun Salutations A and B, completing four of each before we move into a seated relaxation to finish out the class.
