Hi, I’m Aideen.
I am the founder of The Well and a yoga teacher. My initiation into yoga was practicing a wobbly tree pose I had found in a pop magazine in my tween years; it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that I began attending studio classes. I was instantly hooked, and after 6 years of practice I embarked on my first 200hr teacher training, hoping to learn more. The following year I was headed to India for my second 300hr training.
Finding yoga was nothing short of life changing for me. I had never intended to teach, being rather introverted and shy the thought of leading a class through a set of asana (poses) was a far cry from anything I thought I could ever do. Yoga unearthed my voice, showed me parts of myself I never could imagine existed and all the while helped strengthen my body and my nervous system.
The classes I offer are open to all, with a focus on slow, steady and strengthening movements. I can’t wait to see what yoga can do for you!
Why The Well?
Running a wellness studio has been a dream of mine for over 10 years, and nearly 1 year after having my son, feeling how frayed my nervous system was, and seeing how many people in my circle felt the same, I decided to walk away from the corporate world and let The Well begin to take shape.
Community
Building a sense of community is central to The Well. Come for a class, stick around for a cuppa and a chat. Wellbeing isn’t something that happens in isolation
Something for everyone
Our aim is to create an extremely welcoming and inclusive space, with something on the agenda for everyone.
A yoga focus
While offering a broad range of classes and services, our core is grounded in yogic practices.
